Roof Cleaning Specialists, based in Omagh.
Cleanforce NI Ltd is an exterior cleaning business run by Managing Director Phil Moss from 31 Brookmount Road, Omagh. Roof cleaning is our speciality, and our main method is the air-pole system, which lifts moss and lichen off the tiles using compressed air so nobody has to walk on your roof.
We chose to specialise because roofs deserve care. A roof is one of the most expensive parts of a house to repair, and the way it is cleaned matters as much as getting the moss off. Being specialists means we can focus on doing that one job well.
How we work
Every job starts with a free written quote. Send us photos of your roof or ask us to call out, and we will set out exactly what we plan to do, whether a biocide treatment is included and whether any part of the work needs water or pressure. Air is our main roof method, but we are honest that some jobs, such as driveways, patios or a stubborn area of staining, are better tackled with softwashing or a careful pressure wash. We would rather tell you that up front than hide it.
On the day we arrive in our sign-written van, protect the area around your home, do the work and tidy up afterwards, including clearing the moss that falls into the gutters. We work Monday to Saturday, 9am to 6pm.
Why the air-pole method
Traditional roof cleaning often meant someone walking across the tiles with a scraper, or blasting the whole roof with a high-pressure jet. Walking on tiles risks cracking them, particularly older concrete tiles and slate, and high pressure can wear the tile surface and drive water under the overlaps. The air-pole system avoids both: compressed air does the work, directed from the ground or a ladder. It is the reason we specialise the way we do, and it is what homeowners often come to us for.
Who we work for
We work mostly with homeowners who take pride in their property and want a specialist rather than a general handyman: people who would like their roof, walls and driveway to look looked-after, and who value a careful method and a clear quote over the cheapest price.
Our promise on honesty
We will never tell you a roof needs cleaning if it does not, and we will not pretend a method is something it is not. If a light covering of moss can wait another year, we will say so. If part of a job needs water or pressure, it will be on your written quote. And if we spot a broken or slipped tile while we are working, we will point it out so you can have it looked at by a roofer.
