What to include in your enquiry

The more we know, the more accurate your quote will be. It helps to tell us roughly what type of house you have, such as a bungalow, dormer, semi-detached or detached house, and whether there are extensions, a garage or a conservatory. Let us know which jobs you are interested in: the roof only, or the gutters, walls and driveway as well. If you can, take a few photos of each side of the roof from the ground, plus any areas of heavy moss or staining. You can send photos by WhatsApp or email after submitting the form.

What happens next

Phil will get back to you to talk through what you need. In some cases photos are enough to quote; in others, particularly for larger or more complex roofs, we will arrange to call out and have a look. Either way, you will receive a free written quote that sets out what we plan to do, whether a biocide treatment is included, and whether any part of the job needs softwashing or pressure washing. There is no obligation to go ahead.

When we work

We work Monday to Saturday, 9am to 6pm. Roof cleaning can be done for much of the year, although we will avoid very wet or icy days for safety and so treatments have time to work. If you have a deadline, for example a house sale or a family event, mention it and we will do our best to help.

Getting ready for the visit

On the day, we need safe access around the outside of the house and somewhere to park the van. It helps to move cars away from the walls where moss will fall, bring in garden furniture or washing, and let us know about anything fragile below the roof line such as glass roofs, plant pots or water features. You do not usually need to be at home while we work, but you are very welcome to be, and we will always show you the finished result if you are there.
